40-lap Plyler Overhead Door Modified special with Kid's Club Night at the Races presented PNC Bank and thePennsylvania Cyber Charter School at Lake Erie Speedway this Saturday

North East, PA (August 14, 2014): The Plyler Overhead Door Modifieds will be featured Saturday Night at Lake Erie Speedway for Kid’s Club Night presented by PNC Bank and Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School with FREE General Admission for all Kid’s Club Members.  There will be plenty of games and prizes throughout the evening for all Kid's Club Members.  Also, anyone with a Pittsburgh Circle Track Club Membership will receive FREE General Admission.

The Plyler Overhead Door Modifieds will have a 40-lap feature with Randy Culver looking for his fifth win of the season.  The points leader currently holds a 23-point margin over Eric McCray, who has one win on the season.  Chris Briggs, Dale Murdock, and JP Weisser, all without wins this season, fill out the top five.  Will there be a new winner at the end of 40-laps? Can McCray get a second win and close the gap on Culver?

Defending champion Dave Krawczyk has been undefeated this season in NASCAR Street Stock competition, winning all eight feature races contested.  His current lead is 128 points, likely unbeatable with only four races remaining on the schedule.  Russ Conti has a comfortable margin over third place Ed Hall, 43 points.  Both Conti and Hall will be at the front of the pack trying to boot Krawczyk from his hold on Victory Lane.  Chris Crossman and Tim Arthur fill out the top five. Can anyone keep Krawczyk from another trip to the Winner's Circle?

With three wins on the season in the NASCAR Compacts, Jeff Breads holds a huge 116-point edge over Bob Moore in his quest for the championship title and is the only driver in the top five with feature wins this season.  Brandon Huffman, Beckie Jackson, and Phil Jackson are third, fourth, and fifth in the season standings.  Will Breads lengthen his nearly insurmountable lead or can Moore close in?

Heading into last week's racing, Carl Vilardo IV held a one point lead over winless Jeff Dunfee III in the U.S. Legend Cars.  That all changed when Vilardo IV experienced problems early in the feature relegating him to a twentieth place finish while Dunfee III ran second, vaulting him into a 35-point lead heading into the final stretch to the championship.  2012 champion Brandon DeBrakeleer, winner of three features early this season, is only nine points behind Vilardo IV, a two-time winner, in the standings. RJ White and Owen Bednesz are fourth and fifth. Will Vilardo IV or DeBrakeleer be able to rebound? Can Dunfee III score a win?

Daniel Buell, with two wins, leads his brother, three-time winner Donald Buell, by eleven markers in the points battle for the INEX Bandoleros championship.  Defending champion Matt Mead, a two-time winner, is third, 34-points behind second.  Chase Firestone and Dale Lombardo fill out the top five.  Can Mead close the gap on the brothers Buell?  Or will they continue to dominate?

With only four weeks in the 2014 Race Season Fueled By Kwik Fill time is running out for all of the above questions.  Lake Erie Speedway is the place to be for exciting racing this Saturday.

Following the racing entertainment a fireworks display will be presented on the backstretch.
