Tandem battles run the Lake Erie Speedway drift course to Formula DRIFT judging criteria — initiation, clipping zones and proximity, called by an FD-sanctioned judging panel.

Run the season
Four rounds of tandem competition against the strongest amateur field in the region, judged to Formula DRIFT rules.
Score points
Every bracket finish earns championship points. The season point fund pays the top five at the October awards banquet.
Graduate
The series champion earns a Formula DRIFT PROSPEC license — the same path past champions have taken to the pro paddock.
Spectate or compete
Season passes include a series shirt, SFI-rated gloves and two crew passes per round. Review the 2026 series rules before competing — then bring the car.
