We hope you’re ready for an adrenaline-filled summer!
This past month has been an absolute blast at Lake Erie Speedway! The weather has been great and we have seen an incredible crowd come out for every event.
You showed up in full force this past month for the latest Crash-A-Rama, making it our largest event ever at the track! Followed by the All Star Monster Trucks for a special Father’s Day weekend and then we rounded out June with RZR Bulls and Barrels! Keeping up the momentum we’re driving headfirst into July and have an exciting lineup with a mix of racing and off-the-track events.
July 8th We’re kicking the month off with the first ever Spectator Drags and Aussi Style Burnout Competition on July 8th. We know that many of our events bring a large “walk-up” crowd however this being a new event we need to reach a certain capacity in order to run, which means we need you to purchase your tickets in advance or this event may end up being canceled. There are a few more spots we need to fill so come on out, burn some rubber and and show us what you got! Did we mention there are cash prizes!?
July 9th
Next up, The Great Lakes Cars and Coffee will be rolling into Lake Erie Speedway on July 9th. This is a great opportunity to show off your ride and check out some incredible builds, all while supporting TWO great organizations. Admission is only $10 at the gate and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Parkinson’s Partners of NW PA and the Alzheimer’s Association of NW PA. It’s a great way to get out with friends, get some steps in, and support some great causes that directly benefit members of our community.
July 15th
July rounds out with two of our most highly anticipated events of the summer. The first is the Great Lakes Taste of Summer Festival Presented by PNC Bank on July 15th for all you foodies! We’ll be packing the track with some of the best food trucks and wine and spirit vendors (for those who are legally able to partake) in our area along with live music from the Breeze Band. We’re also excited to see competitors throw down in the Steak Cookoff Association competition taking place over the weekend to spice things up. Grab your friends, family, and tickets to indulge in and experience the Great Lakes Taste of Summer Festival.
July 21st-23rd Lastly, Summer MatsErie and Round 2 of the Great Lakes Pro-AM Series presented by Moty's Lubircants is back! Join us July 21st - 23rd for three full days of drifting, a fantastic car show, and Christmas in July! For a limited time, grab your early bird tickets for only $30! That’s only $10 a day and includes camping- you can’t beat that deal. Get together with your track buddies, bring your drift-curious friends or introduce the kids to your favorite motorsport! MatsErie weekends are all-ages, and all about the good vibes. This summer has been a blast so far and we can’t wait to keep the fun going. The growth so far this season has been nothing short of amazing!
