First, we just want to say thank you to everyone who made it out to the Winter Showcase. It was a great time, with a great turnout, and we loved seeing some new and familiar faces out at the track. We know it's going to be the first awesome event of many and can't wait to see the rest of you in the coming months so let's dive into what this year looks like!
April
Spring MatsErie is fast approaching. Driver sign-up and tickets are live on the website now! It's your first chance to test your upgrades and mods that were made over the winter break, catch up with track buddies and make new ones. Check out the updated rules, grab your spectator tickets, and sign up for a full weekend of track time.
Drift PAOHNY's first drift clinic of the year is taking place on Sunday, April 16th. This is a closed-to-the-public event and is SOLD OUT. If you missed a chance to participate keep your eyes out for the next one.
We have the 72nd Annual Lucas Oil ROC 250 makeup race taking place on Saturday, April 22. These drivers have been waiting months to see who's going to take home the crown so it's sure to be an interesting fight for the title. Tickets are available now.
Join us Saturday, April 29th for the 21st Annual Walk for Autism. Lace up and come out to Lake Erie Speedway for a two-mile walk designed to increase awareness of Autism, and fund programming and activities for individuals with Autism in our community. 100% of the proceeds stay in our local area and directly support those within it. There will be jumping inflatables (weather permitting), face painting, arts & crafts, autism merchandise, food trucks and so much more. Spring MatsErie and Round 1 of the Great Lakes Pro-AM Series are happening May 12-14. Tickets and registration are going live on a per-event basis in tandem with each MatsErie event. Dates are available on the website.
The Wildest Show on Wheels is back for another season! Crash-a-Rama presented by Jamestown Mattress featuring School Bus Figure 8 Racing and the Scarecrow Stunt Show is taking over Lake Erie Speedway with its passion for mayhem, Saturday, May 27. We're kicking off June with VIBES Drift, a style-based event where the teams that participate bring some of the most well-put-together machines you'll ever see both in aesthetics and performance. Whether you've been before, or it's your first time, you won't be disappointed. Come out June 9-11 and get your spectator on. Tickets are Live and can be purchased on the site.

A $3,000 purse is up for grabs at the Battle by the Lake Spectator Drags as well as a $1,000 Purse for the Aussi Style Burnout Competition! Who doesn't love a good time and a chance to win cold hard cash? Join us Saturday, July 8th for some exciting battles at Lake Erie Speedway. Early Bird General Admission tickets and driver registration for both Drag and Burnout competitions are live on the website. Ticket prices will increase close to the date of the event so save $$ by grabbing yours now.
Want a reason to come hang out, drink coffee, check out cool cars and support a great cause? Check out the Great Lakes Cars and Coffee on Sunday, July 10. 50% of the gate proceeds will be split between the Parkinsons Partners of NW PA and the Alzheimer's Association of NW PA. Did we mention it's only $10 and you can pay at the gate? We hope to see everyone who supports the track come out to help our community.
The Great Lakes Taste of Summer Festival presented by PNC Bank features Wine/Spirit Sampling from 15+ vendors, a Steak Cookoff Association Competition, live music, and More. Spend the day indulging in some of the best local fare and beverages our area has to offer or roll up your sleeves and get competitive for cash prizes. Round 2 of the Great Lakes Pro-AM Series, along with the Summer MatsErie is closing out the month from July 21-23. Ticket and driver registration will be announced closer to the event's date. Stay tuned for more information.
August
Crash-a-Rama returns for round two on Saturday, August 5th. Whether you're just needing a second dose or you missed the first one, tickets are live now so you can plan ahead. Don't miss out on the Bone Shaker Jet Truck, crazy stunts, buses doing figure 8s, wild builds, jumps, crashes, and so much more. It's fun for the whole family! Kids 2 and under get in FREE while those 3-12 are only $10. You can't beat it.
September
Rounds 3 and 4 of the Great Lakes Pro-AM Series, along with the Fall MatsErie wrap up our 3-day drift events for the season. Tickets are not yet on sale but will launch at the same time at a date TBD. If you know you're coming save the dates on your calendar Fall MatsErie and Round 3 of the Great Lakes Pro-Am Series is taking place September 1-3, with the final round of the Pro-AM series happening on September 29 & 30.
Last but definitely not least we have the pleasure of welcoming back the 73rd Annual Race of Champions Weekend featuring the Lucas Oil 250 where every lap counts for the weekend of September 15-17! Ticket sale launch will be announced shortly, but if you can't wait until September grab your passes for the 2022 make-up date in April!
